According to the performance, the adhesive of PTFE Teflon tape is mainly divided into silicone pressure sensitive adhesive and acrylic adhesive.
Silicone pressure sensitive adhesives have a temperature range of -70 to 280 degrees and a long-term temperature of 260 degrees. Since most working environments require temperatures of 150 to 220 degrees, silicone pressure sensitive adhesive has been most widely used s on the market. However, pressure sensitive adhesives also have high quality. There are still differences in performance between domestic pressure sensitive adhesives and imported pressure sensitive adhesives. For example, domestic adhesives have a larger disadvantage in high temperature resistance and storage time, which is far less than imported adhesives. Domestic adhesives generally can be kept in storage for 3 to 4 months while imported adhesives’ storage time can reach 8 to 10 months. In view of this, we only use imported silicone pressure sensitive adhesives.
In the past six years, our company has seized the commanding heights of the PTFE Teflon tape market. Our production line is the widest in the industry. The thinnest thickness of PTFE fiberglass tape is  0.08mm, the thickest is 0.3mm, the middle thickness mainly includes 0.13mm, 0.16mm, 0.18mm, 0.20mm and 0.25mm; according to the performance, it can be divided into non-anti-static and anti-static PTFE Tape; according to the processing surface, it can be divided into single-sided processing and double-sided processing tape; according to the color, can be divided into brown, black and white tape.
Compared with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives, acrylic adhesives have considerable temperature resistance. The one in the current market can only withstand 120-150 degrees. Our highest temperature can withstand 180 degrees. When exposed to the air, it can withstand 180 degrees for a long time without denaturation. Due to its small market demand, our main acrylic tape is only one or two thicknesses, such as 0.16mm.
Customers are advised to consider the relationship between product life and productivity when choosing which type of glue to use. From our many years of market experience, most customers will choose imported PTFE tape with more stable performance.
